Alexander Wang annouces H&M partnership at Coachella with Huge Bash! Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea PICS inside

Announcing their new venture with a special event at Coachella, rock star fashion truly collided with rock stars at what has arguably become the world’s most important music festival. This was the ideal place to make a weekend splash as the news has hit every major outlet from this weekend coming into Monday.

Following successful partnerships with highly-lauded European designers such as Isabel Marant, Wang will mark the first time H&M has partnered with an American. Per H&M, “Alexander Wang will propose a new take on the lifestyle product offering that goes beyond fashion. The full collection will be available in 250 H&M stores worldwide, and online starting November 6, 2014.”

H&M’s creative advisor added “Alexander Wang is one of the most important voices in fashion today.”  If Alexander Wang x H&M’s event attendees such as Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea, Kate Bosworth and performer Major Lazer (all pictured below) are any indication, expect a line that is fierce and sleek.  After seeing his Fall-Winter collection at NYFW, there was no shortage of 80s throwback long coats, big buttons, bold, neon accent colors.  Perhaps a sign of things to come at H&M on November 6?
