Daily rundown 5-29-13: Asos update, Tadashi Shoji, Akanbi murdered and Full-Figured Fashion Week

Asos issued a statement saying that the possible Cobalt-60 radioactive contamination is likely not a threat and the recall is completely voluntary. They added: “The good thing about being an online retailer is that it was very easy to contact people who had ordered the belts so they could be sent back — a lot easier than if they were sold in a shop,” Apparently Asian made garments can contain pieces made from scrap metals that have risks of contamination. Stay safe, folks and check if you are part of this recall.

Tragic news as designer to the stars Shaun Akanbi (Tinie Tempah, Ms Dynamite) is found stabbed to death at his home in the UK. Our hearts go out to Shaun’s family and friends. Read about it here
