The recently launched 3.1 Phillip Lim fashion line has arrived on schedulein Target stores nationwide (see here http://bit.ly/1f169VD). When the line launched I was looking forward to going to my neighborhood Target and picking up one of the incredibly beautiful handbags. Unfortunately they were sold out. They were also sold out online for all shapes and sizes and in all colors. So then I was on a mission and I wouldn’t rest until I was able to score of these purses.

Not only was I on the prowl for these handbags, I instilled the help of a coworker and between the both of us we were checking our local Targets almost daily and online as well. Then it happened, after two and a half weeks of constant looking when I had just about given up I walked into my local Target and there it was. Like a shining star, sitting on top if the 3.1 Phillip Lim display. The display itself was almost empty, people can’t get enough of the clothes and I had in my wonderful little hands the only handbag left. Even as I checked out the cashier made a joke about not letting his manager see that I was buying the purse because she was going to buy it! I walked out of Target feeling like I had the winning lotto ticket.

The quality of this purse is impeccable, the stitching is uniform and the throwback retro-modern design is reminiscent of the handbags from the 50’s. purse2 There are 3 inside pockets and one outside with a magnetic close. More than enough pockets and the inside has more than enough room to carry all your essentials like your wallet, phone and even a tablet. If you’re looking for a new fall handbag I suggest doing the legwork for one of these beauties.
