NYFW Rag & Bone rocks splatter prints and plaid

Rag & Bone, media darlings, CFDA Awards winners and fashion-forward Brit stars showcased their designs tonite on Lincoln Center runways for NYFW. The collection kept with this year’s popular Fall-Winter grays and blacks with their splatter prints and plaid ready-to-wear pieces receiving a great deal of buzz.

While plaid has made it’s way into several noteworthy collections, splatter prints offered a unique twist as many designers had opted for more geometric designs. Short jackets, stretch pants, slouchy knee-high boots in bold oranges and reds served as ensemble accents, while straight cuts and sharp angles were standouts among blouses. The edgiest moments of the show were easily the fur accents and big feathered looks (see pictorial) adding dose of glam to a mostly urban ready-to-wear set.
