RIP legendary Couturier Jean-Louis Scherrer passes

From perfumes to hand bags, the House of Dior to Jackie Kennedy, Jean-Louis Scherrer had seen it all. Having moved from Dior to found his own renowned house in 1958, Scherrer had seen and done it all.

By the 1980s he had ascended to new heights with his fashions known for their extravagant designs until eventually leaving his own house in 1992 during the throngs of recession and under acrimonious circumstances.

Jean-Louis Scherrer made a distinct mark on the fashion world and will surely be missed.
