Video: Lena Dunham would shop here – Collections vintage clothing store opens in Bushwick

Good quality, great designs and rare finds – Lucy Ann Wheeless, Owner, Collectionstrendboardnyc’s never-ending explorations of the hippest and trendiest parts of New York’s five boroughs landed the team in Bushwick, deep in the heart of Brooklyn. While Lena Dunham’s HBO series “Girls” has made Bushwick Chic a national name among pop culture savvy Gen Y and Millenials, this city has been on the rise for several years among fashion conscious trendsetters looking for indie retreats away from SoHo and 5th Avenue shopping sites.

While it began a couple of years ago as proprietor LucyAnn Wheeless’ appointment only affair for affordable vintage clothing enthusiasts. Collections has now opened a brick-and-mortar location easily accessible via the L-Train at 16A Wilson Avenue.

In this short video viewers will have the chance to see this charming shop, which Wheeless aptly describes as having the ambiance of “sitting in your best friend’s beach house” while hearing from the owner as she shows us a couple of her favorite pieces including a sweet, light mint Anne Klein number.
